Azees holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from School of Excellence in Law, TNDALU with specialisation in Constitutional and Property Law. He commenced his practice under the Government Pleader at the Madras High Court, gaining hands-on experience in government litigation, and later moved into private commercial practice, providing him with balanced exposure to both government and private-side litigation.

His practice is primarily focused on writ and civil litigation, with particular emphasis on service law, and commercial disputes. He regularly handles matters relating to constitutional remedies, administrative action, and contractual enforcement, and is involved in drafting pleadings, formulating litigation strategy, and appearing before the Madras High Court, District Courts at Chennai, Tiruppur and Coimbatore, and other quasi-judicial bodies. He advises on property and commercial disputes involving substantial financial stakes. His commercial practice encompasses commercial suits before the Madras High Court, intellectual property advisory including trademark prosecution and enforcement, and mediation. He also handles criminal matters, including bail, anticipatory bail, and trial proceedings, with exposure to issues concerning personal liberty and procedural safeguards.

His practice reflects a sound understanding of both procedural and substantive law, enabling him to effectively navigate litigation across jurisdictions. He adopts a structured and practical approach, with a focus on clear strategy and efficient dispute resolution.
