Albert Paul holds a B.E. (EEE) from R.M.K Engineering College, LL.B. (Hons.) with specialisation in Intellectual Property and International Law (SOEL – TNDALU) and a PG Diploma in Human Rights Law (NLSIU, Bangalore). He trained under High Court practitioners and IP attorneys, gaining hands-on experience in pleadings, writ practice and trademark prosecution.

He has 3+ years’ experience in litigation and advisory, currently handling commercial, IP, civil and writ matters. His work includes drafting pleadings, cease-and-desist notices, contract review and enforcement strategy, with appearances and filings before the Madras High Court (Commercial Division), City Civil Courts, Consumer Forums, and NCLT. He has also advised government bodies and high-value clients on compliance, risk and dispute resolution.

He is a Registered Trade Mark Attorney (TM Code: 48768) with focused expertise in trademark prosecution, infringement strategy, and IP advisory. His academic and research contributions include a published paper on Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Law, contribution to a handbook on Geographical Indications and policy research with the DPIIT-IPR Chair on patent evergreening, plant varieties law and emerging IP issues in the metaverse.
